Great question! While we as wedding shop professionals do our best to work magic so that every visit goes smoothly and ends with a “yes!” we can’t do it all, and there are a few tips we always recommend.
First, we advise that each bride does a little homework first. That usually means just getting familiar with the different options out there in terms of silhouettes. Check out some of our past blogs to learn more about the basic silhouettes, shapes, and fabrics and what makes each unique.
We also advise that if you can, do a little looking into some of the well-known designers out there and learn about what appeals to you. Do you love the glam lace look of Sophia Tolli, or do you prefer the classic, streamlined elegance of Justin Alexander wedding dresses? It’s absolutely fine if you’re not really sure, but getting familiar with some of the options can be helpful. We definitely want to make a note that it’s great to balance your preferences with staying open to new things when you’re at your visit, so try to keep an open mind and have trust in your consultant when you’re at your appointment.
Speaking of appointments - make one! Whether you opt to visit us at Blush Bridal Boutique or visit another shop, most shops request prior appointments.
